Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions

This summer, Cameron's work will be featured at The Morgan Library & Museum in Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions, a major exhibition tracing Tarot's evolution from its origins in Renaissance Italy to its enduring influence on modern and contemporary artists.

The exhibition places Cameron alongside artists such as André Breton, Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, Jess, Niki de Saint Phalle, Betye Saar, and Kerstin Brätsch, examining how Tarot became a tool for imagination, symbolism, and alternative ways of seeing.

Among the works included are Holy Guardian Angel according to Aleister Crowley and rarely seen notes from Cameron's personal studies

Conduits of the Unseen: Women Artists Imagine Other Worlds

Curated by Susan L. Aberth, the exhibition brings together seventeen women artists whose work explores worlds beyond the immediately visible—through mysticism, spirituality, dreams, altered states, and other forms of visionary experience.

Cameron is represented by Untitled (Oval ink drawing), an undated work in ink and metallic ink on paper. Her work appears alongside Gertrude Abercrombie, Leonora Carrington, Sylvia Fein, Leonor Fini, Madge Gill, Juanita M. Guccione, Helen Kendall, Emma Kunz, La Phalérinienne, Paulina Peavy, Agnes Pelton, Hilla Rebay, Irene Rice Pereira, Adele Watson, Marie Wilson, and Agatha Wojciechowsky.
